We know that many of our customers like having a game plan before visiting us, so today, we’re going to guide you through the trim levels available for the 2025 Telluride to see what each has to offer. That way, you’ll have a better sense of which ones are perfect for you.

The 2025 Kia Telluride LX

This is the starting Telluride model that everything else builds upon, so we’re going to focus on it more than the other trim levels. The Telluride is powered by a 3.8L V6 engine that provides 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This is plenty of power for an SUV like this, making it quite fun to drive and responsive despite its large size. The LX comes with front-wheel drive and gets an estimated 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway for fuel efficiency, offering excellent gas mileage for a three-row SUV.

You’ll find 18-inch wheels with a silver finish on the LX, along with LED projector headlights with auto headlight control to turn them on and off automatically for you. Standard features on the Telluride also include amber LED daytime running lights, High Beam Assist that can switch off your high beams to avoid blinding other drivers, and a front grille that features a black insert with a Satin Chrome surround and a vertical design. Satin Chrome window surrounds and lower door moldings create a cohesive overall look with body-color door handles.

Looking inside the 2025 Kia Telluride LX, you’ll find eight-passenger seating, thanks to a third-row bench seat, with six-way adjustable front seating. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, along with SynTex seating, which is quite durable and looks great. You get a 4.2-inch Instrument Display for you as the driver, along with a 12.3-inch Infotainment display with Navigation standard in the LX. A six-speaker sound system is included, along with cabin pre-cooling and heating functionality accessible through the Kia Access App on your smartphone.

Finally, every Telluride model comes with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance safety features, including a Forward Collision Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection. You get a Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist, a Driver Attention Warning, and Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. A Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist system and Rear Park Distance Warning are included, along with a Blind-Spot Collision Warning to help keep you and your passengers safer each day.

The 2025 Kia Telluride S

The S trim builds on the standard features in a number of notable ways, starting with 20-inch wheels for a bolder stance and a Smart Power Rear Liftgate with Auto Close, making loading and unloading cargo from the back a lot easier. You can also choose a couple of exterior colors that aren’t available for the LX: Dark Moss and Midnight Lake Blue. The S trim features seven-passenger seating thanks to a pair of captain’s chairs in the second row, with an eight-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a power sunroof. You get LED interior lighting with this model, along with a wireless phone charger that makes it easier to keep your devices powered.

The 2025 Kia Telluride EX

Moving up to the EX trim, we find a number of enhancements to further improve your time on the road each day, such as LED tail lights that look great and make it easy for others to see you. Eight-passenger seating is standard, with seven-passenger capacity available, plus you get an auto-dimming rearview mirror and power-folding side mirrors. The EX comes with an eight-way power front-passenger seat to go along with the eight-way power driver’s seat, plus heated and ventilated front seats with an available heated steering wheel. You get gorgeous leather seating in the EX with woodgrain interior accents that look remarkably sophisticated.

The 2025 Kia Telluride SX

With the SX trim, you get to enjoy a variety of upgrades and distinct touches like LED fog lights, Gloss Black lower side mirror trim, and dual sunroofs to offer a stunning view of the sky overhead for all of your passengers. The SX comes with a 10-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar for an incredibly comfortable ride while you’re behind the wheel, plus memory functions for the driver’s seat and side mirrors. You get beautiful leather seating, stainless steel scuff plates and pedals for an added touch of style, and customizable interior lighting with 64 colors available. Taking things to the next level, the SX features a 12.3-inch Instrument Display along with an incredible 10-speaker Harman Kardon Premium sound system.

The 2025 Kia Telluride SX Prestige

As impressive as the SX is, the pinnacle of luxury and innovation for the Kia Telluride is the SX Prestige, which comes with all-wheel drive (AWD) featuring a center-locking differential. This is perfect for dealing with rough winter weather and staying in control to keep your passengers safe. The SX Prestige has auto rain-sensing windshield wipers and a Full Display Digital Rearview Mirror that provides you with an unobstructed view behind your vehicle. Inside, you’ll find a beautifully appointed cabin featuring Nappa leather seating that’s incredibly comfortable, with heated and ventilated second-row seating to keep everyone comfortable. You even get a 10-inch head-up display inside this trim, projecting information onto the windshield so you can view it without taking your eyes off the road.

The 2025 Kia Telluride X-Line Models (EX, SX, SX Prestige)

Kia offers three X-Line models based on other trim levels (the EX, SX, and SX Prestige) that include a number of noteworthy features. For starters, all X-Line models come with AWD standard, making them a great choice for driving in winter weather. You get unique X-Line exterior and interior styling on these vehicles, including exterior colors like Jungle Green and Wolf Gray that you can’t get on the standard trims. Inside, an available Terracotta leather color scheme also sets these models apart. Plus, they have increased ground clearance and a self-leveling rear suspension that makes them perfect for taking you to your favorite campsite.

The 2025 Kia Telluride X-Pro Models (EX, SX Prestige)

Going a step further, two X-Pro models are available that build on the EX and SX Prestige trims, providing you with AWD along with more distinct features. These two models come with 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, high-utility roof rails so you can load up more stuff to take with you, and greater approach and departure angles to go along with the increased ground clearance of the X-Line models. You’ll find the same X-Line interior and exterior colors and styling on these models, as well as 5,500 lbs of towing capacity to take a boat or camper with you for a weekend of fun in the great outdoors.

Which Kia Telluride Has Everything You’re Looking For?

As you can see, the lineup of Kia Telluride trim levels isn’t as intimidating as it might seem at first, especially once you recognize that half the selection is the X-Line and X-Pro versions of other models. The best approach is to start with the LX, see how well it matches what you’re looking for, and then go from there to find everything you need. Most of the changes from one trim to the next come down to luxury upgrades and enhanced technology, although it’s important to consider how many passengers you need along with you and choose a model with enough seating for everyone. If you’re still not sure which Telluride has everything you’re looking for, then come visit us at Lupient Kia Brooklyn Park, and we’ll help you find what you need.
